I'm running ebay lights... R8 style... good output and haven't turned yellow(lenses) but half of the LED running lights have burned out and they are non serviceable... but all ebay lights are about the same quality.... as for grills mine came from ebay and didn't have directions but was able to get them installed just took some time figuring out

Thanks for all the info... I was also wondering if anyone has tried those "combo packs" Has the whole grille shell with billet insert and projector lights all together?

You have to be careful with the one piece billit style grills for gen 1 trucks. The one that was on my truck was only about 2 or 3 years old when it started peeling. It started on the top and bottom of the bars, where they were painted black. Then the bars themselves started turning green (from the copper layer laid down during the chroming process) The rest of the chrome is fine, but the bars would need to be scuffed and painted, so I took it off and put a stock one on.

I also had R8 style projector beams on my truck, but took them off because the light output was crappy. I also was trying to get away from the 'boy racer' look that the previous owner was going for.

I still have all that stuff, if you think you can do anything with it.

Here's a link to a picture with it on the truck

I would be interested in the lights, you said output was crappy though would a bulb change help or is it just the design? Pm me and let me know what you want for them.... im on a tight budget so I don't mind doing a little work to them lol

Not a good idea...

I got a set of projector headlights expecting them to be an upgrade from stock, i was horribly wrong... The headlight it self are poor quality, the flash on my iPhone is brighter than those projector lights. The housing did not fit properly into the headlight slot, it didn't fit right at all and make my truck very cheap..
