Wondering if anyone has installed rancho quicklifts on a 3rd gen? Also would it be a horrible idea to add 3/2 spacers to the top of them for more lift? Any advice appreciated here

I installed the rancho quicklifts on my 2011 Expedition King Ranch. At 199k miles, the original struts were sagging. It lifted my front end over 3". I had to add a 2" lift to the rear to get rid of the "carolina squat" and level the rake. I converted my rear air suspension to regular struts a couple years ago. I think any more of a lift and your would need new suspension arms that factor in the lift. I like the look and I am thinking about going up one size bigger on my tires when it is time to replace my current ones.

Like RodE said, any more and you need new control arms. I have 2" spacers and at full drop the arms touch the springs.
