random issue

my 1997 Eddie Bauer 5.4 random limp mode when accelerating but if i let off the gas then hit it again it goes back to normal throws no codes and no lights pop on its random when it decides to do it it can be a month before it does it or weeks i never know when it will happen again trans fluid has been changed when this issue popped up oil as well but it keeps coming back

How old is the fuel filter ? If you have a fuel pressure gauge check the fuel pressure at the schrader valve there on the fuel rail. You should see 45-55 psi .
