So my rear AC stopped blowing and the front comes and goes. I ordered a new blower up front because when I tap on it, starts up again. What are the chances the rear blower part is the same as the front….did not dig too far in parts….

The Rear Blower is different from the front, it is smaller and should be different in color. My rear blower started coming on intermittently and would lose connection randomly (2010 Expedition EL), I would hit a couple of times and it would be back to normal again.
After a while, I ended up removing the blower and blowing it out with compressed air, as well as popping open the back cover and using air to clean out the copper inside there. I haven't had a problem with it since, and I cleaned it in July 2022.

I have a 2010 Expedition XLT EL. I came here looking for this same issue: my rear AC went out last year, leaking from the assembly in the rear and the part was on backorder. So, I blocked off the rear and just used the front. However, going into summer, I'd like to try and fix it. It's an entire unit/case altogether. Just found out from a dealer that the part is "obsolete, no longer made." If anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate it. AC from just the front makes it hard to cool the entire cabin.
