College girl was home next door (single dad out of town) and had her usual party over the weekend. I wake up Monday morning (Memorial Day) to find someone hit the back of my Expedition -- which was parked against the curb (passenger side on the curb) in front of my house. They were parked behind me and must've pulled out and around and misjudged
the manuver. I found white broken plastic and large flakes of silver metallic paint from the perp's vehicle. There was no note.
Spoke to my neighbor and told him that crap was unacceptable. He is going to try and find out who hit it. When I do find out, I'll go to their place and get pix of the car and then approach them and/or their parents to cough up some dough for the fix. Fingers crossed on this one...
Needless to say, I'll eveltually be replacing the plastic cover over the bumper. Looks like a repro on ebay is about $47 shipped. The bumper itself has a few small scuffs, but nothing too bad. In a way it makes me pretty proud of my little stretched Bronco wannabe beater may have inflicted so much damage on someone without the nads to leave an apology note.
