Rear Captains Armrest

Hey guys,

This weekend, the armrest on one of the rear captains chairs of my '08 has stopped staying up. You can turn it 360 degrees on the side of the seat. Any ideas on how to fix this? I didn't find anything through the search or on youtube that made sense for my year model.

Hi Bob,

I've never had one off but my guess there is a retaining pin that keeps it from spinning. Perhaps it sheared off.

Can you buy these things somewhere, for REASONABLE money? My understanding was that "bench" equipped trucks had the exact same right and left seats, just no armrests installed

Removing the center seat and fitting armrests turns the 3-passenger seat into "captain's chairs." You'll need to find a center carpet section to cover the holes in the floor where the seat was.

Real captain's chairs ain't real comfortable.
