Howdy! New Guy here w/ a 2001 5.4L AWD XLT, and I have a question.
How do you remove the head rests from the rear seat backs??
99% of the time I don't have to lay the back of the seat down and drive at the same time, but that 1% that I do, I wind up having to re-adjust the driver's seat to allow for the head rest and it puts me in an uncomfortable seating position.
99.9% of the time, I don't have a passenger in the rear seat anyway, so "restraining" someone's head in a collision is not a concern. I just want to be able to lay the seat down flat to haul the rare long item and be comfortable at the same time.
FYI - I'm not referring to the removable third row seat, I've already taken that extra weight out.
