So I have a 2018 expedition platinum. It does not have rear seat DVD system. I just discovered today that it also doesn’t have any headphone jacks or options for Bluetooth headphones etc. Anyone know how to remedy this. I’d love for the kids to be able to listen to their own station in the back with headphones on.

you need to have separate headrest entertainment system for something like that.

Buy the kids an iPad or other such device and enable the onboard wifi. They can do what they want independent of mom, dad, and each other. Even better solution is to do nothing at all and use drive time as family interaction time. My kids have learned to love the Big 80's station.

I bought a cheap dual screen dvd thing off amazon. I hang it from the seats, on on first row and one on second and the kids can do whatever the freak they want back there and it doesn't bug me. I can listen to my stuff and they can do their thing back there. We bought cheap mp3 players for the kids, or ipods and they can listen to their own music too.

At first I was super disappointed with the entertainment options in the expedition, I felt it was inferior to the jeep I was getting out of but now I actually feel like I like this setup better. I ended up going with the base xlt and spending a couple hundred on the dvd thing and some headphones and the kids seem happier than what we had in the jeep.

Same. I did $180 dvd players from Amazon. They go up on road trips and come off when we get home. Work like a champ.

Here is what I ended up with. DD auto tablet/dvd player. It only has capability to pair one Bluetooth headset at a time so I bought a Bluetooth splitter and problem solved. This will play DVDs. Netflix, prime video, dish anywhere, etc. so far we are happy with it.
