Remote Keyless Entry

I have a little problem with my remote keyless entry on my '98 Ex. It may seem like a coincidence, but I painted my radio antenna black because I didn't like the bare aluminum and now it seems like the range on my remotes has dropped way off. The receiver for the keyless isn't connected to the radio antenna, is it? The batteries in the remotes are new and were working fine until now.

Well, it wasn't the paint on the antenna, and it wasn't a bad remote or a weak battery. Turns out the frequency for my Ex is effected by the HUGE cellular tower right next door to my office. At home I can stand in the back yard behind my house and hit it 100 feet away.
