Removal and replacement of 4r100

Has anyone on here done their own trans replacement? I posted about the issue i was having but i got no replys so im just gonna replace the trans...... Wondering if ne one has a estimated time it took for removal and replacement? Its a secondary vehicle for me.... But wanna leave enuf time to finish it all at one time.... Thanks

Try looking at lightningrodder.com for an estimate of time. They use the 4r100 too, and the Lightning guys are always upgrading their vehicles. Tranny rebuilds are necessary when power levels keep going up, so I am sure there are some threads with the relevant information.

i know this isnt the same but when i replaced the tranny on my silverado, it only took a few hours. it seems if you had help, it shouldnt take that long. maybe get it done a few hours.
