We just completed a 2 month trip in our, new to us, 2023 Ltd. Max. We were towing a +/- 6500# travel trailer 97% of the miles.
5775 miles - 55 nights in 15 states + DC. This completes the bucket list of seeing the USA (except Alaska). We have slept in a camper in all of the lower 48 states
We generally drive under the speed limit (~60 mph) most of the time.
We averaged 9.94 mpg @ average of $2.79/gal ($0.28/mi for gas)
Ending odometer 44,044
The only issue we encountered was a battery failure early in the trip. This is the third battery for this vehicle. The first replacement was 02/2025 @ 33,700 miles (previous owner).
I'm thinking it may have an electrical issue that Ford doesn't want to pursue so they just throw in a new battery and hope it will all go away.
Anyway, I thought the stats might be useful to someone.
