rough idle cleaned iacv

ive gotta rough idle so I took what i think is the iacv off and cleaned it. I took some pics that is the iacv aint it? also what is this think on the fire wall by the brake booster? it has a green cap and when I take it off it has a valve that looks like the one where I recharge my A/C . whats it for?the first pic is the one with the green cap and the valve. the 2nd is where I took the part in the 3rd pic off from.

Yes, that is the IAC. The valve on the firewall is the EVAP purge solenoid, it releases fuel vapor from the tank into the engine. The port on it is the EVAP test port, and is used to make sure the system holds pressure (no leaks in the vapor line to the tank, and no leaks at gas cap).
