has anyone else found the RSC in the expedition to be a little too eager to jump in and "take over"?

i wish Ford had done something else with their "special service" vehicle. they sell them knowing that they will see some form of "emergency" use. i've had to turn around through medians. the expedition does not like that at all.... and i don't mean ripping through at 30mph. rolling into the grass, slow to "maybe" 10mph. as soon as i start back up the median, the computer goes into "OMG!" mode, cuts the throttle literally to idle and idles itself back onto the road.

imagine that with oncoming traffic. even when they're 1/4 mile away it feels like you're gonna get run over. then theres the obvious feeling like the computer reduces power output below 40mph. its easy to tell.... because when the RSC does its little jig... once its "level", it feels like someone fired off JATO rockets through 1st gear with a rapid change to 2nd. which is impressive compared to the usual "we'll get there" acceleration. :-/

just wish there was something to be done about it.
