98 expedition get a rubbing noise during acceleration. No loping just steady and loud like a dry bearing. No noise when you take foot off gas. Someone suggested pinion bearing. This is sort of a big job and an looking for second opinion. I checked driveshaft and there is no play in it at all. None up down left or right and no visible leaks. Does this prognosis seem right and if so should i be looking at inner bearing, outer bearing, or both?
