I was wondering if anyone has used a passenger seat bottom to replace a torn drivers side seat bottom ? all the drivers side bottoms I've looked at are torn but passenger side is great !

Sure

I've swapped all the covers on my 3rd gen SSV

Driver's seat bottom is actually one of the easiest parts and doesn't even really require much physical exertion, unlike some of the others... just need to carefully disassemble the side plastics without breaking anything, everything else is super-simple

Tool wise, you'll need (+) and (-) screwdrivers, a small Torx i forget T10 or T15 maybe, and 90° pliers if you do hogrings... otherwise, just a dozen or so zipties

Oh and you need to pull the seat so the large Torx to unbolt it, probably T50?
