‘19w/ 2nd row captains seats. One of my lap belts is totally locked in the retracted state. No signs of a jam, no warning lights. Won’t pull at all.

Search isn’t finding any answers. Short of total disassembly, any ideas?

My passenger one did that once. It let loose after a wee bit of tugging and pushing it back to try to release whatever it was "caught" on.

Haven't had an issue since. Not sure if your are the same, but these are the inflatable belts, not old school ones.

Warranty replacement - I would not want to free-up the belt, only to have it malfunction again and not be usable with passengers.

Thanks all. Just wondering if there is anything I can do to un-stuck it. I pulled the panel back today, and it seems to be a sealed unit.

Soak it in WD-40. If it starts working...be done with it..UNLESS it is under warranty and you can get it fixed for free. Then by all means, get it fixed for free. But NO MONEY!!
NO MONEY FOR YOU --speaking to garage and dealer. I repair ****. NO MONEY FOR YOU!!

I get bashed for jerking all the babysitter features off of mine, but then I try to make a comment to be safe and nobody listens! lol.

You've never been bashed by me for that type of stuff. I only bash people for being overly safety freaks, spending more money on brand-name parts and being loyal to certain brands when there might be much better cost-effective alternatives, and being too willing to spin the money wheel and do things the prescribed shop or dealer way... so I bash plenty, but it won't be for being a little anti safety feature. Lol

I know, I was joking too. I thought you guys would be proud of me for saying to keep a seat belt safe! lol
