18 limited indicates shift fault when selecting park. When restarted it has reset itself. If I just shut it down when in gear, it goes to park with no fault. It happens about 40% of the time park is selected. It doesn't matter rain or shine. Amy ideas? Should this be covered under drive train?
It has 59k on the odometer.

Yes, it should be covered if you can replicate the issue at the dealer.

Just got the Expy back. Cam phasers replaced and shift to park problem corrected. Shift issue was a transmission solenoid. Took 4 days with loaner and dealer covered all under factory drive train warranty.
