Shocks - What to Buy

I need new shocks for my 2000 4x4 Expedition XLT.........any suggestions? I've heard KYB makes a good shock.

not really sure if shock manufacturers matters (KYB, Rancho, etc.) but I'm going to try Rancho....no particular reason, just gonna give them a shot.

I just bought and installed Rancho RSX's on all four corners, and WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!

They're a bit stiffer than stockers, but with very little rebound.

i would go with the ranchos or the edelbrocks both are very good products that the next big thing i am going to change on my truck and i am think about the ranchos but i am still researching the edelbrock ones

I was told the RS5000's were not recommended for the expy, but to use the RSX's.

so for a few bucks more, you get a better shock with the RSX.....no complaints here:)
