Skid plate woes

Hello all. Has anyone installed an RCI skid plate on their Gen 3? I have a 2007 model and RCI told me that the instructions for the F-150 of the same year would do. That does not seem to be the case. There are no instructions or videos about the 3rd gen Expedition skid plate from this company either. To the best of my knowledge, it looks like I'd have to remove the tow hooks to mount the skid. That is less than ideal, because who knows if or when I'll need my tow hooks? Any help is appreciated!

No experience with RCI Metalworks, but perhaps Workshop Manual illustrations showing tow-hook loop locations for 2007 Expedition and 2009-2014 F-150, and, RCI's photo from here, presumably showing tow-hook loop position relative to RCI's product on a F-150 -- all attached below as JPG files -- can be helpful...
