So i went out yesterday and found a leak under the truck on the pavement. i got my boroscope out and took a look. seems to be from the main crankshaft seal. 2017 EL with 123k. When i tear it apart what else should i be replacing besides timing chain and water pump? Also ive seen people take the radiator and grill out to make it easier to work on. Any tips would be great.

The Expedition has an external water pump so you can probably pass on that. Melling came out with a new high volume EcoBoost oil pump if you are interested. FordTechMakuloco has a 3.5 Eco timing job series that walks you through the process step by step. I’d study his video series as it’s harder than a SOHC setup to do.
