2017 Expedition Limited. 114k miles. Last trip I experienced a misfire while accelerating onto a highway and has not occurred since. I'm going to change the original plugs and boots. I plan to install Motorcraft SP580X Plugs and WR6135 Boots from RockAuto. My question is how do I separate the the coil from the boot? The image for the MOTORCRAFT DG549 Coil shows the boot attached as a single unit. Also, I'm reading on various threads that the plug gap is about 0.028" and the SP580X are set at 0.035". Will there be an issue with the larger gap?
