Does anyone know if they make speaker pods for a 2011 Expy? I am looking to add speakers to the back of my truck. It only has speakers in the front and middle doors making it hard to hear the music in the rear seat. I am hoping that someone knows of these or other ways to mount new speakers toward the rear seat?

you could just mount some tweeters so they fire towards the back of the truck

Thanks

I am wondering if there is a brand tweeter that would be able to "surface" mount near the upper part of the rear pillars? I remember seeing a long time ago tweeters that come with an option to surface mount instead of behind the door panels...

besides cutting holes in the rear inner panels and mounting some 6-1/2"s back there (thats what I would do) you could get a small 4 channel or 2 channel amp and put some 6x9s in a box behind the 3rd row... that'll make them hear the tunes real well lol

How about something like this?

These are from the Navigator. I was looking into doing this, just need to add a 2 channel amp. If you replace your factory Expy pieces with the ones from the Navigator they come with the speakers.

That's more of what I was thinking. Are they one piece pillar comco or seperate bolt on?

They replace the entire pillar piece.

Part #'s for EL
Drivers Side - 7L7Z-4031011-** ( $135 )

Passenger Side - 7L7Z-4031010-** ( $142 )

Part #'s for Regular Length
Drivers Side - 7L7Z-7831011-** ($139)

Passenger Side - 7L7Z-7831010-** ($137)

You need to add the two letters at the end where ** is, this is your trim color ( AA=Stone, AB=Camel, AC=Black)

Prices shown are from a Vendor on this site (T**ca)

One other thing, if you dont have the rear vent windows I dont think these will work because all the Navi's had them, so you would end up with a notch in the pillar piece.
