Thanks ManUp and Loki...will look into both scanners. Dealer found the fault codes (lane departure, passengers side airbag faults) and (no surprise) cleared them. Since the codes didn't come back, it was deemed "fixed". The speculation is that "maybe something was blocking the front sensor". Seems odd I'd get the airbag fault, had no idea the two systems were connected.
