Hello everyone I'm new to the whole engine swapping and hope somebody can help me out. I have a 2003 Ford expedition 4wd 5.4 2v engine and I want to swap it for a 5.4 2v lightning engine without the supercharger (that will be for some other time when I have saved up some money to install a ATI Procharger). For now I would like put the lightning engine on and use it for daily driving. I want minimum 400hp nothing to crazy. Yes I will once in awhile put the pedal to the metal. Can I use my 4r70w tranny if I were to install a performance shift kit, stall, and a better transmission cooler? If not, what transmission can I use and what would be the computer module that I would need? Thank you all for your wisdom
