sync 3.7 to 3.8

I'm planning on activating my nav using forscan, but supposedly I have to upgrade to sync 3.8 before it will work. I downloaded the update to a usb drive, just wondering if anyone has done this on an Expedition and did it work ok?

Which version of Sync do you have?
