Hi,
Long story short is that I need to replace my OEM 275/55R20 Nokian Rotiiva AT tires soon and I want to replace them with taller tires, specifically 275/60R20 more rugged-looking ones. I don't want to do any modifications to the running boards, wheel wells, suspension, or swing arms. Does anyone have experience with upsizing their OEM tires on a 2017 Limited Max? I'm interested in the Cooper Discoverer Road + Trail AT and the Bridgestone Dueler A/T Ascent.
Some tires appear to be wider on the side wall from rubber design flare and I don't know if that has been incorporated in the overall tire width (10.8") or not. I'm not sure if the flares will rub against the swing arm and the "tire professional" that I spoke to said that the only way to truly see if a tire fits is to put it on the truck, but if it doesn't fit then there will be a re-stocking fee which I also want to avoid.
Any help in this matter is greatly appreciated.
