Hello all, I'm new to the forum, new overall to trucks and ford.
The truck
Year:2005
Model: Expedition Eddie Bauer edition.
Exterior: Black 6/10
Interior: Beige lether 8/10
So I just picked this up used of course. Did a little research and I fell in love with the truck.
Started shopping around and found this one from its 3rd owner. Most of the service records were found online via carfax and other similar sites. I felt comfortable going to see it..
I arrived and upon inspecting the truck I knew it was the winner. the lady claims she drove it back and forth to PA from NY every other weekend with her 3 kids. 2 are now old enough to drive, as such she said she doesn't need the truck.
The interior is in decent shape for its age. No tears in leather and very minimal stains on pillars and headliner. TV works great and the sound system is awesome. No navigation disc though, quite the bummer, but still quality radio.
The exterior is in ok shape. Scratches on bumpers and lite blemish on doors. The doosy is on the driver quarter, big dent. Other than that all is good. Tranny shifts smooth for a truck with 152,100 miles. Engine is strong and growls nicely lol. It does have a slight ticking sound though which I hope is nothing major.
All in all we're happy and excited to have the truck.
Thanks for adding me and hopefully I'll learn a lot on maintaining this truck from you seasoned/experienced guys.
