The power third row seating switch found inside the drivers side rear door on the drivers side rear interior trim panel behind the second row seating that controls the power third row searting is not working. The switches for the same function that are found near the tailgate work fine. Is this a switch issue or is it a seperate fuse/relay? I see that fuse 104 is for the LH switch, but it is also for the LH motor, does that mean if it was tripped, the RH seat would not go up with the LH seat? Both sides work with the rear switches.

So, just to get this staight:
Both seats work properly with the rear switches.
Both seats do not work when using the "front" switches (where are these, in the second row, driver's side?)

The fuses would be 117 for right and 104 for left side, though they should be fine considering both sets of switches use the same power sources/relays.

Did the problem just start, or have they never worked?

As a side note, I find it weird that the manual only lists the rear set of switches, nothing about a "front" set. The service manual lists front and rear sets of switches, though lists the front switches as "early production."

I just had traded in my Rubicon for the expedition a week ago and they have not worked since I had picked it up. After rebuilding the drivers window switch bank; I thought it may be the same issue with the front switched for the third row. I pulled the cupholders next to the switches and disconnected the switch harneses fron the back of the switches. I could net get the switches out of the trim panel and I did not want to pull the body pannel (I had just pulled and repaited the rear radio contol, sanded the rear tailgate to remove the oxidation spots by the lift gate handel. Repainted the tailgate, repainted the window striping on the front and rear pass sided window trim, wire-wheeled and repaited the 4 center caps on the rims to match the estate green body, basicly spent a 18-hour day working on it and did not feel like doing anything other than sleeping). I blew out the dust from the connections and snapped them back on. Then the switched started working. Nice. I then read there is a limited amount of time for the switches to work after the key is removed. Not sure I had ever tried it within that time window since it is new to me. Live and learn. Thanks for the follow up.

I never knew there were a set of front switches for the third row seats. Our 2006 doesn't have them.
