I bought this SUV used, when I bought it, the previous owner told me they had to install a button to bypass the factory alarm. Everytime I need to start the vehicle I need to hold the button in while turning the key forward or the alarm goes off. Not sure if my current problem is related to that or not.
It started fine earlier today, then a couple blocks from home it killed. it would not start again. My gas gauge was low, but i dont think I ran out of gas, either way I added alot more gas to make sure. Tried to start it, and still nothing. I read in alot of forums about the security light, and the associated problems with the anti-theft. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
