Compressor died and the conversion kits are cheaper than replacing the air ride. If the rear is completely decompressed, but the front is at ride height does this indicate I have rear air only? If so, that'll save me $100. Also, are the Suncoast kits good quality? Or should I go with something else?

Look right behind your front tire, if the shock looks super fat and has a line entering in the middle of it, you have 4 wheel air ride. 4 wheel air ride used torsion bars to help the shocks compensate, so the t bars would still hold the front of the truck up for the most part I would think. If you cant tell, take a picture of what is behind your wheel and post back.

this happened to me once , it turned out the line got disconnected,, I would look into this before replacing it.. IMO.. if you look under the front section next to the driver wheel , look up and you will see where the lines goes into the compressor..

Now my air compressor is LOUD! So as expected, i already got a reman compressor in my parts bin

I bought a rear replacement kit from NAPA got the one for trailer tow the springs are stiffer and it was alot cheaper then replacing the air bags, great investment.
