Torsion bars installed backwards

A ford dealer rebuilt my transmission, and when it was supposed to be completed, the service rep gave me a call and informed me that it was not done. He stated that his dumb*ss mechanic installed the torsion bars backwards. I have a 2000 4X4 expedition, if they drove it around testing it this way what kind of damage should I be looking for, after they tell me it has been fixed?
