Hi All,

When it comes to electrical issues, I'm at a severe handicap. I have a problem with my 2005 XLT. I hook my boat trailer up and get the running lights only on the trailer to work. No brake or turn signals work. They are still working on the expy though. I know the trailer is wired fine because I hook up another vehicle and everything works normal. It's a standard 5 pin connector. Any clues on where to start looking? Thanks!

I would get a test light or volt meter and check to see if the expy has power at the plug connection for the trailer.... I use test light because if it flashes it works...lol.... but if you have power at plug you know it is the trailer or if no power it is somewhere in the expy... had the same problems last summer and turned out to be a bad ground on the trailer lights

Thanks for the reply. I'll hit the store and pick up one of those testers today.
