97 expedition...got 4.6 auto.

which fluid is best....not what u used or would use. i wanna know which is the REPLACEMENT fluid for this trans.

isnt the BLEND discontinued (mercon) and now we used mercon3 or something for THIS YEAR 97 expy?

worried cause SOME TRANSMISSIONS go bad after fluid change. not right away but.....

never changed mine....have truck 2 years now....suggestions please....

You need to use Mercon V fluid in that.

use mercon v you dip stick should say and thats what my 97 says
