Urgent help needed!

Help, can someone look and see where this vacuume line is supposed to go? It fell off when replaceing my a/c accumilator/dryer and I can't see where it is supposed to go. It is just behind the battery near the firewall. It is the little black hose sticking up in the air, to the left of the blue thing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
its a 5.4l year 2000
I need to get this resolved soon so I would really appreciate if someone could trace theirs out for me, even post a picture. I have been looking for hours now to see where it goes but cant figure it out.

i have the same problem, i just found out that there is a black rubber stopper type oval shaped thing on the back of that hose, going inside the dashboard, you can pull it out but be careful coz the white plastic plastic hose sticking inside it is a bit brittle and might snap if you pull it too hard. anyway im not sure what this is for, but i assume its like a sensor or something coz the other end is going to the intake hose.

Thank you all very much for your help. I found where my little vacuum tube goes and now my air comes out where it is supposed to. The little tube just pushes into a little black grommet that goes thru the firewall. I would still be looking if it wasn't for your help.
