Vacuum leak?

2004 expo 4wd with 98k.
Should this go somewhere? I have codes running lean on both banks.

Looks like it's the vent line for the 4x4 hubs. There should be a similar one on the other side as well. See if you can trace it down to the wheel hub, there should be two vacuum lines going to the wheel hub. One pulls a vacuum, the other should vent to atmosphere.

Keep looking for other cracked plastic lines and deteriorated rubber connectors. Most likely the source of your lean condition. Make to check all the lines coming from the throttle body/manifold all the way around and over to the passenger side firewall

You can easily build your yourself a cheap paint can smoker and use it to find the source of your vac leaks, there are plenty of videos on YouTube, this eliminates the guess work and finds the leaks quickly.
