On my 2008, 4WD, 6r75 I believe- The transmission shifts and works great all the time except for a 3 second delay going into Drive.
If I'm parked and just go directly to Drive, it works perfectly.
If I go into reverse and then Drive there's a 3-5 second delay and then it slams into drive.
But if I go from Reverse to Neutral for one second, then to drive it's fine and goes in Drive with no delay.
I'm assuming this is a valve body issue and may have been caused by yours truly several years ago. I had pulled the valve body and did some kind of upgrade kit with new o-rings on all the solenoids, and a few other minor things that were supposed to be more modern design changes that help the trans last longer. BUT a few months later it started doing this.
Could it possibly be a leaking o-ring on a solenoid? Or a loose filter? Or is this a known issue related to a bad pump or clutch pack?
