Hey guys, was wondering if you all have done anything and if so what have you done to get an increase in HP/TQ? Thanks boys!

Oh, my, where to start? I’ve been all over this forum for about a year, I’ll save you some time and put together a summary of what I’ve seen here.

sorry about the delay.
from what I've seen here, there are things that can be done. first, though, understand there is no silver bullet. all of these are incremental power adds and will require a tuner, with a custom tune, to get them all working together to maximize the power of what you paid for.
in no particular order:
headers with complete high flow (mufflers/cats) duals , intake, CAI, throttle body w spacer, mild cam. if you like, go whole hog and get the heads ported and polished, etc.
next, get the traction to the ground: at a minimum, make sure you have the right differential gear ratio and a locking diff. "right" depends on the power and torque you're making, and the size of the tires. you'll probably wind up with something like 4.56 axles.

if you start your search along these lines, you'll be able to decide what specifically applies to your truck. there'll be plenty of people here to offer their input.

in general, i avoid GOTTs mod and catch cans. I think they're just ********; they won't add any real benefit - at least they don't hurt. feel free to do your own research, just be aware of the difference between actual numbers and people's stories.
CAI by itself is a waste of time, but then, so is most any single mod.

There are several trains of thought concerning increasing power for your Expedition.
1) Making changes to your drivetrain through lower gearing can make better use of your current power. Be careful and understand gearing and what it does, because I often see folks select too low a gear ratio when they don't understand gearing modifications..

2) Mechanical engine modifications, however, it depends on where you want power to occur.... 1.5k to 3k...2.5k to 4k ... or 5k to 7k, knowing that your drive train, braking and cooling systems have limitations... related to capacity or torque. Therefore modifications must respect those limitations, or expensive parts will break. Of course you must understand, what modifications provide the desired power at the desired RPM range....Engine modifications can be limited in your specific state, regarding emissions

3) Supercharging your engine... This is initially the most expensive modification, however it can provide torque and horsepower across the RPM range without requiring extreme modifications to your engine in most cases. Understand that there are limits to engine modifications, which affect, braking, cooling, and drive train as stated in engine modifications.

4) Extreme, is a mixture of 2 or more of these items.

know this however, modified vehicle parts are not necessarily available if you truck should experience failure while, towing, off roading etc... so give some consideration to modifications which don't require acquiring special parts.

TJ, thanks for your help - I’m particularly interested in power and torque increase in the under 3k band.
I would very much appreciate hearing from you about those mods, especially for torque.
Thanks for your time.
