Wilwood makes a kit in two sizes for F150, Expedition and Navigator.

Front:
TX6R Part # 140-18205 15.50 inch rotor

AERO6-DM Part #140-17000 13.38 inch rotor

Rear:
Supervise 6 Part # 140-13866 14.25 rotor


Baer brakes makes a kit for the front with a 15 inch rotor with stock caliper, brake pads. The give you a bigger caliper brackets.

One way to prevent brake rotor warping is to tighten all lug nuts to exactly the same torque (not at least a certain torque, but the same torque). I got this tip from Bendix on a car I had rotor warping on. I replaced the rotors on that vehicle and hand torqued them for 60,000 miles and never had a problem since. Uneven torque causes rotors to warp.

Having owned a Ford Excursion, I can say that Ford did not calculate stopping power vs. weight. The braking system was never enough to adequately stop that heavy vehicle, especially with a full load. And because if it, the brakes never lasted very long. The first thing I did was go to custom rotors and a dual caliper system.
My Expedition stops very well. I switched from the semi metallic pads to ceramic pads, when I first got it, to dissipate the heat better and save the rotors. I notice absolutely no stopping power loss, even though there should be some.

I suspect Ford considers that the brake spec designed to handle heavy towing, has substantial margins sufficient to handle spirited driving sans tow load…

Unless folks anticipate getting rowdy while towing with a Sport Performance Package? (Which has only 10-15% more horsepower)

I massively upgraded my Excursion brakes because the factory setup was so bad, plus I oversized rotating load (325/65R18 BFG KO2s). Never stopped like a sedan, but was better than the freight engine it started out as. Expedition stops pretty close to what I think a sedan would, which is impressive!

Well a short 6 months later, and the locally sourced front brakes I got for my warped rotors….have warped.

So did my homework and went with the Powerstop Z36 upgrade front and rear.
