Way to default recirculate button to on

Test drove a 2019 limited today. Noticed the recirculate button defaults to off when restarting. Only noticed after getting a bunch of diesel smoke inside going down the road.

The salesmen was so clueless that he didn’t understand the tow hitch that is standard has nothing to do with the heavy duty tow package. So no help there.

Nope. It does its own thing. From the manual:


Recirculated air may turn off (or prevent you from switching on) in all air flow modes except MAX A/C to reduce the risk of fogging. Recirculation may also turn on and off in various air distribution control combinations during hot weather in order to improve cooling efficiency.

Thanks. That really sucks. Can’t wait for my wife to complain about that...she notices smells way before I do.

As tight as the new cars are if always on recirculating lack of oxygen would be a problem & why it turns it's self off .
