04 expedition xls.

Passenger front power window stopped working. I pulled the door panel... motor is fine. Neither window switch will work (passenger side or driver switch) All 3 other windows operate fine from driver panel and the ones in their doors. It is only the front passenger that will not work. I replaced the driver master switch panel. No luck. I did not bother to check the fuses since the fuse(s) involved feed all 4 windows.

I thought I read some where that if the passenger side window switch is bad, the driver master switch will not work either. Any truth to this? If not I am stumped. Advice / experiences related all appreciated.

thanks

Can you read and follow wiring schematics? Here are two schematics for the power windows on a 2004 Expedition. The main switch has to work before the single door switches will work. All power and ground comes through the main switch. Of course a wire can be broken between the main switch and the right front door. Does the door lock switch work on the passenger door? The first schematic will give you the colors and location of the wires you need to check first.

Are you sure the motor in the passenger side window operates? Might be burnt out or suffering from water damage. Just a thought.
