Afternoon - Tried to bring my drivers side window down - didn't work. Apparently - the glass was frozen to the upper felt channel. Regulator separated from the glass. Brought regulator back up hoping that the glass would re-seat itself - that didn't work either. Instead, the glass fell into the door on the next sun lit day. Removed door panel, disconnected the all the plugs not to mention they were a bear to unplug. Noticed that I could not get a hold on the glass in the door due to the regulator having been raised earlier. Re-plugged all the wiring to the window switches - heard a slight "click, click" tried to power the regulator down - nothing worked. All the windows are now inoperable. Checked fuse #14 15 amp - it checks good. Re-inserted #14 fuse - tried the window switches again - no go! None of the windows will power down.
Other than the 15amp #14 fuse in the cab fuse panel -are there any other fuses ( accessory circuits ???) that operate, are in conjunction with #14 fuse. Is there a reply that I should check? Is there a fuse link, circuit breaker ..etc. anywhere I should check??
Can't drive this puppy in the winter with the driver's windows down and the others not working. Could use someone's experience on this problem.
