Hello all, i went to visit my grandmother today and went down a dirt road. I didnt think it would get as dirty as it did but that was my excuse to take it to a car wash. So i decided to post some before and after pics for you guys. I also included a pic of some scratches that either the snow brush made or the brush at the car wash made, these scratches are all over the hood and side of the truck. GOTTA GET MY TRUCK PAINTED!!!

lol i know that, i hate having a dirty truck. I want to get the truck repainted because it seems that there is little to no clear coat left. Plus i dont like that green!

Try to do a claybar application, then a good wax jump with a buffer. Should come out alot better than what it is now. A claybar treatment will do wonders and then a good buff and wax job.

+1 for clay and a true 2-3 step process.... compounds to wax to sealer... can do wonders... unless you can catch a finger nail in the scratch then your gonna need to do some body work... I'm drooling to get my stuff out but it is still too damn cold and don't have a garage big enough for mine...

i am thinking of going a vibrant blue with light metal flake and getting chrome trims :D. I seen this pic of an escalade and fell in love with the colour.

Scratches suck clay bar is great though. Mine bing silver u can't see them that bad. I just can't wait to wrap it in matte black vinyl. That way if I mess it up like I know I will just pull it off and put a new piece on
