Well I drove the expy today, then got stuck in a traffic jam, while in traffic 2 different people asked me of it was a diesel in it and instead of having to explain y it's not I just said yes to be over with it.

I finally got around to changing the rear shocks and its amazing the difference. This thing had factory shocks. I will say that getting the top bolt on the drivers side is a complete pain in the ass. I ended up buying a 24" 1/2 drive extension to get it out...16 years of rust on that bolt...yeah...fun.

Any other tips? I have to do mine soon. How long did it take you?

At my age I no longer feel like I can justify the cost of a setup like this, but back in the day I would have been all over it. Now I'll just live vicariously through you. :D

I lubed the front passenger door lock actuator. It doesn't always fully unlock with the remote but seems to just fine with the unlock button on the driver's door.

Drove it today & A semi wouldn't let me merge on the highway today and forced me to ride the shoulder for bit, got my revenge though I wouldn't let him merge to another highway and forced him to stay in his lane ***** to say he was extremely pissed is an understatement!

Cleaned my wheels, grabbed a six pack of buds, headed to Lake Merced in San Francisco. Sorry east coast were getting 80 degree days right now, Indian summer for us. Met up with two other mechanic friends and talked cars, women, and what we did to both when we were younger. Ah good times!

It's been 60-70 and ultra low humidity here every day. Perfect. You can keep 80F. ;)

We only get warm weather in San Francisco every once and a while. We don't get the 90 degree plus summers you guys get. If you ever come here May through late august it's foggy and nasty. Funny thing is tourists never complain about the cool windy weather. I guess if I had to go back to 90-115 degrees, I wouldn't ***** either. We've got blue angel show tommorow I believe, hope the clear weather holds!

Swapped the plugs out today. Thanks manup you were right brown boots made it for a nice easy day.

Much more responsive. No idea if they were ever done before today at 184000km. I've owned it for around spine 20 of those.

Stared at it for 30 min. Then replaced the upper controls arm, hub, outer tie rod, CV shaft and 4x4 hub actuator.

Should have just replaced lower arm too.........grrr

Not what I did, but what my wife did. She lost her set of keys at my mom's and had to be driven home since I was at work.[emoji43] Hope to find them, don't want to have to buy a new set.

That's why I hide a chip key in mine, just in case.
