Replaced door speakers and now replacing rusted out brake lines to the rear wheels.

Probably going to do HIDs tomorrow. Still trying to figure out the ballast placement and wiring with the rubber gasket on the 2nd gen headlights.

Took the grill out of the surround piece. Goona try to come up with a way to do a custom insert WITHOUT chopping the dam thing all up like those "RBP Grills" they install on these new trucks BUT that's the look i am going for.Since they don't make em for 1st gen Expo/F150 at least i havent seen any.I want to try to build my own grill to fit over the stock.if i ever decided to take it off the original grill would still be there intact Not all messed up.like it was never on there. That's the plan anyway!!

Is that photoshopped? Looks pretty sweet. $500 or so from T-Rex is a lot for a grill insert IMO.

yes and thanks man 3 hours spent on "paint" then almost another hour spent on a photo editing web site hehe

yea i can't see spending that much on a dang cheap made grill insert.that you have to mangle your grill to get them install, i seen them things and there flimsy as f$$k not worth the money more less paying for the name i can make my own for around 40 bucks or less and look just as good and it won't be no flimsy POS

Took the throttle body off, cleaned it, it was filthy nasty inside mostly the back side and back of throttle plate, also took egr valve off cleaned the carbon out of it, Sprayed the mass air flow sensor, while i was at it i painted a few rusty looking bolts "black" and all bolts that i took out i put some anti seize on em.Also put a zip tie around the throttle cable inside up by gas pedal that "took some slack out of cable" only needed one, Honestly i felt a difference right away as soon as i took out of the drive way and got on the gas a bit

Looked at it in my garage again and need to get around to replacing the battery and wash it before winter.

Edit: Have no idea why it went in sideways

Nothing really to the Expy today... got undercoat for the rockers/rad support for this winter just to hold things together (lol)... and tonight I helped my buddy with a 7.3 build a sled deck/ramp for his skidoo.

Ironically enough that is actually what's in there right now [emoji1]

That's what I had in mine and at half its rated lifespan it was pumping out half it's rated CCA. The dealership asked if I wanted them to replace it and I laughed. Now I've got an Advance Auto Gold in there (made by Johnson Controls).

I went to the junkyard today got a few relays/fuses,an alternator, signal switch, belt tensor and a complete fuse box that someone already had taking out,got home tired my relays for my
"no signal issue" well all 3 didn't work, felling bummed out,So i just moved on to changing out my noisy alternator to the junk yard remanufactured one plus the belt tensor cause it was sticking after about and hour had it all back together BUT when i got in it and turned the key the engine slightly turned over and all the lights on dash everything lost power, i tired it a few more times same thing, well thinking the battery went dead i pulled the battery charger out after about 10 mins of charging still did the same thing so i decided to turn the key on and jump the solenoid with screw driver and it fired right up after it was running for few mins in the dark with my phone flash light app I saw what happen while i was pulling the alternator out i pulled on alternator wire a little too far and pulled this little wire off the solenoid it just pushes on there and it's protected with a rubber boot.

Had me worried for about 15 mins thinking here we go again dam Ford, but nope "dam mechanic" hehe
