Busy Week. I just picked up my 2015 XLT EL at the beginning of the month. So I'm new here.
I move my DashCam from my Explorer to the Expedition on Saturday in high heat. Sweaty job.
The explorer looks so much smaller.
Oh, and someone must not have liked the way I parked, cause I got key'd bad on Saturday Night. Not sure where it happened, just saw it the next day.

In past three months:
New timing chain, phasers and tensioners
New Oil Pump
New hoses
New plugs and coil packs (only broke one)
Changed out bad COP connector and TPS connector
Rebuilt Throttle Body.
It has been a pretty eventful three months, but I'm hoping that I'm done for a while....

I’d like train horns for the bikers around here. We put in a multi million dollar bike path and all the guys in those outfits still ride in the middle of the road.

There really should be some restrictions put on these bikers for their own safety. They ride right off the center yellow line and won’t move over to the white to allow traffic to pass. They don’t care...thing is neither does the lady texting in her Suburban when she mows the biker down so I guess it’s natural selection.

Fixed the AC changing to defrost due to vacuum loss. Bought 18” of vacuum hose and replaced almost all of the vacuum lines on that system. Check valve was good. But there was a ton of dry rot. Truck is 20 years old - it’s expected.

I hauled another load of fitness equipment. This load came from Long Island. Ugh. I hadn't been to LI in 23 years and I don't plan on returning for another 23. Traffic into LI makes Manhattan traffic seem trivial.

Mine is the EL too lol, I have the Eddie Bauer with the Pueblo Gold trim.
The guy in front of me had the exact same trim, same wheels, same pretty much everything. I'm beginning to think that this Black XLT was a very common sale. I'm seeing them everywhere now that I'm looking.
