what fuse is for then interior lights? i have the door ajar problem again and wd40 didnt work, nor did anything else this time. so ill just pull the fuse, since my lights still on with all doors shut.

don't you have a owners manual? I would go check but my expy is gone till tomorrow night... dad had to use it till I get his jeep fixed... waiting on radiator fan which we had to order.... gay jeeps...lol

look in the back under the index for fuse panel... then go to corresponding page and look for which fuse goes to the interior lights.... then find the fuse...

I think the fuse is #14, and on the fuse box under the dash, it should be in the 2nd column from the right, and the 3rd fuse down, and a 15 amp fuse.

I hate when the door sensors get all dirty and need to be cleaned. . .

i love heeps! my dad has one my uncles all have one! 3 different tjs. a green Sahara with rubicon 4.5" lift 3" BODY LIFT (for you lane) and d44s, i think, axles. arb lockers 35s or 37s. full cage. custom front bumper and rear tire swing bumper. its nice! my other uncles have black tj x's. ones 2" lift 32s, and the other stock with 31s and street lock rims. my dad has a 79 cj7 with factory 304 amc v8 lifted... who knows how high. 2" i wanna say with 32s and a crappy carb! and yet we do great out in the desert. so dont say "dam jeeps" haha they are heeps! you know what jeep stands for??? Just Empty Every Pocket! haha

any ideas? we used a ford and snapon scan tool on my truck it says rear hatch cauusing door ajar. i tried cleaning switch then replaced with new switch no luck. a mechanic at the ford dealer said check around driver door. he said alot of times it is not the switch at all but infact it is some wiring issues, wire rummin on metal now grounding etc. my fuse is gone out the window i got pissed and pulled it with my gerber while driving lights no longer come on but the damn beep is there whenever my door ajar light goes on and off when i hit every other bump while 4wheelin
