what would it take to run 33's

Hey guys.
I have an 03 EB 4wd expy and I want to be able to run 33's.

I have the stock 17" rims. I want to run Nitto Mud Grappler 33x12.50R17. How much of a lift would I need and would I need different rims?

I don't know much about tires/wheels so your help would be greatful.

If not, do a Search on the forum "Tires", you should get some good results.

I'm trying to do a 03 EB 33's with a 5" lift right now, still trying to get more opinions on the lift.

well first off, a 12.5 wont fit on the stock rims. you will have to go with a 33x10.5x17 for stockers.

and i use the readylift 3/2 lift on mine and run a 35 inch tire with only have to remove the inner fenderwells and trimming the front bumper
