Hi all,
I had a system in my Excursion that is almost identical to the one I have now in my Expy. Yet I am not getting the full range of bass "tones" I used to get. The hard hitting, low bass, and the "midrange" bass are fine, but in a rolling bass song, I just won't get the right sound.
Here's what I have;
2 infinity 1262 12in. subs in a non-ported box w/ 1.70 airspace. Subs require 1.40.
1 BOSS 2000w amp
4 Alpine Type "S" door speakers (6x8)
My bass boost is not on, I know that will distort sound sometimes. Will adding a MONO amp with a 10in sub fill in the higher frequencies that I'm not hearing? Or will it conflict with the subs i already have? Should I re-install an 8 inch sub in the factory location?
