...for my 1999 4WD: Cooper AT3 or Cooper CTS?
AT3 all terrain, 55k warranty, beefier looking tire
CTS all season, 70k warranty, looks like a car tire

same price. I drive mostly highway, go ice fishing, sturgeon spearing and hunting a few times per year.

Does this justify buying the AT tire? Anybody else running either of these? Fleet Farm buy 3 get one free plus $75 rebate, so full set of 265/70/17 for about $500.

Thanks
Jim

I agree

I think you're both right! Getting put on Friday, $525 all in after rebate!

A/T tires have better grip under 45 degrees. They stay flexable.Highway tires get stiff.Bad on ice.The A/T 3 got the best ratings in consumers report.
