The colder the air is, the less moisture it can hold, so it deposits the water on the glass. Warmer air can hold much more water, so it doesn't sweat on the glass. Same reason dew forms every night, but not during the day.

Turns out it is the recirculation damper motor. The air is stuck on recirculation and will not open to fresh air. I have it scheduled to be fixed and I will update afterwards. Too bad the dealership couldn’t figure this out.

I don’t know if this is a regular Expedition issue, but I feel like Ford has an issue with their blend door actuators. I had to replace three of them in my Taurus I had before the Expy.
